Hey there, Noah here with this week’s devblog. This week marks less than one month to EGLX! We’ve been hard at work, pedal to the metal, nose to the grindstone, balls to the walls. We’re mostly working on balancing, working out the dwindling number of bugs and issues we’ve found, getting our in-game assets up to snuff, and optimizing performance. We’ve added our long-awaited tutorial mode to the game, rounded out custom game mode creation, gotten Steam integrated, started reworking our UI and in-game models, cleaned up the code on our towers, and overall have been gunning for the finish line.
We’re really excited about the progress we’ve made, and are looking forward to sharing it with everyone! To that end, we’ve been discussing starting up a Twitch stream of our weekly testing nights, where people can pop into the No Sleep Twitch channel and catch a sneak peek at the progress we’re making every week, as well as ask questions of the developers, “hot seat” style. More info regarding the stream and schedule will be forthcoming shortly, as we figure out the logistics.
